Experience tradition
The Reslwirt was originally an inn, the oldest inn in Flachau. In early modern times, when the iron industry flourished in Flachau, the Reslwirt was run as a store, before being acquired by the Resl family and christened "Reslwirt". The Warter family - direct descendants of the Resl family - attaches great importance to the tradition of hosting. One gets a sense of this from the cordial way in which guests are treated. The senior partner, Matthias Warter, took over Hotel Reslwirt from his great uncle and aunt Alois and Emmy Tranninger (née Resl) in 1995 and over the years helped it become one of the leading companies in Flachau. In 2005, the building was completely renovated and opened as a hotel following large extensions and additions.
