Whether rafting, zorbing, mountain biking, guided hikes, Segway rides, Nordic walking and more, Flachau offers numerous activities for a sporty and exciting holiday. Aktivzentrum Flachau

The Aktivzentrum Flachau provides a hub for the sports operators of Flachau to create a diverse programme for the whole family and transforms Flachau into a virtual holiday club. From guided hikes and mountain biking tours to body fit programmes, archery, tennis and horseback riding, to Zorbing, rafting, high-ropes courses, rock climbing, or Segway and quad bike rides, it's all there.

Lots of fun in Flachau

Cycling and mountain biking in Flachau

Recreational cyclists, mountain bikers and road bikers will get their money's worth in Flachau. Flachau is certified as a bike region with the quality seal "Approved Bike Area" and promises to satisfy every need. 45 signposted bicycle and mountain bike tours await you here, from enjoyable family routes to challenging mountain tours, including a bike centre with bike hire and bike servicing (in the immediate vicinity of the family resort) and daily guided bike tours courtesy of the Flachau Card. And if that is not enough in terms of action, there is a mountain bike course in Flachau as well at the Bikepark Wagrain in the surrounding area. For those who prefer to take it easy, there is of course something for you too: E-bikes. Electric recharging bases are available in Flachau, and you can rent the bikes too, of course.
A special event is the annual Flachau Bike Night in August, where sport, show and party are combined.

Running and Nordic walking

In Flachau there are 6 signposted runs, including short runs of 2.5 km and longer routes stretching 11 km. All runs pass directly by the hotel. Experience the uniquely liberating feeling of a run through nature, and the subsequent feeling of happiness and awareness that you have done something good for yourself and for your health.

Fisherman's Friend StrongmanRun

"Are you too strong - are you too weak?" - it's all happening again in July 2017. The spectacular running event is being staged for the 3rd time in Flachau. The obstacle course comprising climbing barriers, mud, water, car tyres, nets, etc., awaits you and constitutes a particularly sporting challenge.

Lucky Flitzer

The Lucky Flitzer year-round toboggan run with its 5 spirals and 2 jumps races downhill for 1.1 km - nerves of pure steel are required here! Entry is reduced for Flachau Card holders.

Segway, mountain go-karts and quad bikes

Explore the local terrain with the Segway, ride a mountain go-kart down the mountain or race a quad bike through the surrounding area – it’s all possible in Flachau!

Zorbing & stand-up paddling

Try Zorbing, where you roll over the meadows inside huge plastic balls – it requires nerves of steel! Very popular on hot summer days is stand-up paddling. Test your skill and sense of balance.
